Arena Not For Sale

Coventry City Council Chiefs have told Jojar Dhinsa that the new Arena is not for sale. Mr Dhinsa had claimed that his plans include buying the Jag Arena last week, however a statement by Councillor Ken Taylor and Chairman of Arena Coventry Ltd Andrew Young states: "Our simple message for today and the foreseeable future is that the Arena is not for sale. "Mr Dhinsa has not appreached us and we have not approached him. Our committment and investment in the Arena is for the regeneration of the city and long term benefit of the people of Coventry. This and only this, will guide any future decisions we make."
Meanwhile Jag Arena Chief Exectuve Paul Fletcher has claimed that brides to be are trying to book the Arena for their weddings in 2006 and 2007. He said "We are getting lots of people wanting to book weddings and exhibitions. "Obviously it is all about location,location,location and the Arena is slap bang in the middle of the cdountry."
