Calls For Ranson To Meet His Public

Covsupport News Service is pleased to support calls for Ray Ranson to keep open the many lines of dialogue that supporters had with the club under the Chairmanship of Geoffrey Robinson and Joe Elliott.

Part of "Operation Premiership" included improving the dialogue between supporters and this has been done to great success with many more supporters now feeling they are part of the Sky Blue family.

One of the ways, this has been done is through the Supporters Consultation Group, which was a Sky Blue Trust initiative and gives supporters one vehicle of raising any comments, ideas or suggestions with the club and its different departments.

Others ways of keeping supporters informed include the club sending out regular emails to over 42,000 City supporters as well as holding a highly successful fans forum to introduce Iain Dowie and Tim Flowers to City supporters when they were appointed back in February.

With many supporters back in Coventry over Christmas and the New Year or off work, college etc, now would be the perfect time to host a shareholders meeting and then a fans forum where plans for the club can be aired by Mr Ranson and his new board and questions can be asked and answered to dispell all those unanswered questions, myths and rumours which currently surround us.

Before every home game, the song "Let's Stick Together" is played and at the start of this new era, what better time to ensure that all City supporters and the club do just that is there?
