Open Centre for those Sky Blue Fans who wish to reminisce about happier
times.
Organised by a group called "the Start of an Era project" the banner has
been created by young Sky Blue Fans aged 11 to 17. They have been working hard all over the summer to create a photographic montage of memories and poems of the much loved Highfield Road. It also includes historic photographs and written memories that fans have sent in via various
websites.
The Start of an Era project is run by the Community Arts Organisation, Equus
Arts, and funded by the Coventry City Small Arts Grant and the CCFC
Partnership Centre. They are currently working on a video to accompany the
banner documenting the demolition of Highfield Road.
