The Championship season kicks off on Saturday August 6th and on August 23/24th, the Carling Cup Campaign gets underway with the first round games.

With a free Saturday on September 3rd due to World Cup Qualifiers, City will play in the second round of the Carling Cup on September 20/21. Another free Saturday on October 8th is followed by a Women'S FA Cup 1st round for Coventry City Ladies on October 23rd. Two days later, City should be competing in the Third Round of the Carling Cup.

The second round of the Premier Women's Cup competition is Sunday November 13th with November 29th and 30 playing host to the Carling Cup 4th Round.

December starts with the Womens FA Cup third round on the 4th and the following day, it will be all ears to the televisiion and radio as the draw for the FA Cup Third Round is made. The FA Youth Cup Third Round which saw City knocked out at Watford in Third Round in the season just gone will have to be played before December 17th. Just before we go into the busy Christmas period,the fifth round of the Carling Cup will be played on the 20th and 21st.

Into 2006 and Saturday January 7th will be the Third Round FA Cup day with the fourth round of the Womens Cup the next day. January 10 and 11th are days set aside for the Carling Cup Semi-Finals first leg and on the same day, the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup will take place. The second leg of the Carling Cup Semi-Final take place on January 25th and three days later,it's FA Cup 4th Round action with the fifth round of the Womens Cup the next day.

Fifth Round FA Youth Cup action kicks off February on the opening day of the month. The sixth round of the FA Womens Cup takes place on Sunday the 12th and three days later,the sixth round of the FA Youth Cup is due to be played. The Fifth Round of the FA Cup will be played on the weekend of Saturday February 18th/19th and Sunday February 26th will see the Carling Cup Final in Cardiff for what should be the last time.

March 8 heralds the FA Youth Cup first Semi-Final with the Womens FA Cup four days later. With the World Cup to come in June, the sixth round of the FA Cup will be played on Wednesday March 22nd on the same day as the Sixth Round of The FA Youth Cup.

April 22nd and 23rd will be the dates for the FA Cup Semi-Finals and on Sunday April 30th,City will play their last Championship game of the season.

May starts with the Womens FA Cup Final on the first day of May. Now if it has been a good season for the Sky Blues, we'll be looking at getting tickets for the first Championship Play-Off Semi-Final on Saturday May 6th or what day Sky TV decide it's on. May 10 will host the second leg and it will be off to the newly rebuilt Wembley Stadium for the Final on May 21st. In between that, the FA Cup Final is scheduled to kick off at Wembley on May 13th at 3pm.

The Championship fixtures will be announced on Thursday June 23rd at 10am.
