"PlayHard Sports, the organisers of the Copa de Ibiza Football Tournament would like to state that the event is being funded by the Balearic Council of Ibiza. No money is paid to the visiting English clubs apart from the costs of their travel, hotel & training arrangements (25 players & staff from each club).
The reason for the Council putting on the tournament is because it is a good promotion for the island of Ibiza to show that it is not just a great holiday destination, but that it has excellent training facilities and can cater very well for professional clubs.
It offers state of the art "Polygrass" surface pitches, running tracks, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, extensive gymnasiums, beach training etc... and gives the players a very physical workout in the hot climate, before their return to the UK pre-season programme.
The Supporter Holiday Packages help the Council of Ibiza to re-coup some of their costs, which in turn has assisted your club in being chosen for the tournament and given fans the chance to enjoy a fantastic holiday in one of Europe's best holiday destinations while watching their team at the same time.
So, the Council and PlayHard Sports would like to thank those fans who have already booked up to make the tournament possible and we look forward to welcoming you all to Ibiza.
The players will be working very hard of course, but that's not the case for the fans!!! PlayHard Sports have some fantastic "Social" events lined up during the week. These are all optional of course, so if you just prefer to chill out and do your own thing while taking in the games, that's fine also. But for those of you who want to Party a bit more look at what we have lined up:

* Sunset Cruise.
* Daytime Party Cruise.
* Presentation Party Evening with free prize draw for club signed shirts and other memorabilia + live music & 3 hour Free Bar!!!

**Some of the above are free and some carry a charge, though we try to keep the costs down to a minimum to make sure everyone
has a great week. Exact Itinerary/prices will be given to you by the staff when you arrive in resort.
