The paper claims that secret talks has been going on about a gig which would have taken place in June or July 2010 after Jackson's management contacted the Arena in Coventry to say that Jackson was interested in playing a concert there.
Jackson died on June 25th in Los Angeles and ACL boss Daniel Gidney told the CT: "We were told in April that Michael Jackson would be coming to Coventry.
"It was very early in the organising, so we didn't have any firm dates, we just knew it would be in the summer next year.
"We were very excited about the concert which would have been a fantastic event."
