The Ricoh Arena boss and former Stratford Councillor is in the last five of the Midlands Business Person Of The Year Award, which is the showpiece award of the event which will be held on Friday January 28th at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham.

Mr Gidney has been the top man at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, since it opened in August 2005.
