Coventry Bears Rugby League team won 30-10 this afternoon at Kippax Knights.
At Ninevah Lane in Allerton Bywater near Castleford, the Kippax Knights scored the first try of the afternoon in the ninth minute.
However, the Bears responded immediately with two trys to lead 14-4 after twenty minutes.
A third try came and Coventry were sixteen points clear at the break.
As with the first half, Kippax were the first to score a try in the second half and they went over for a converted with twenty minutes gone to reduce Coventry's lead to ten points.
Alan Robinson's side came back thirteen minutes later with an unconverted try and another try before the end of a bloody encounter gave them a deserved 30-10 victory.
