Coventry Bees beat Wolves tonight at Brandon in an Elite League meeting.
Again, Chris Harris who on the Craven Trophy on Monday night rode down the order and it was Lewis Bridger and Krysztof Kasprzak who rode first for the Bees.
Bridger got a second as Wolves won the opening heat 4-2 but The Bees through Richard Sweetman and Josh Auty restored parity with a 4-2 win.
Heat three was re-run after Proctor crashed and saw a 3-3 before some good riding in Heat 4 from Chris Harris and Richard Sweetman gave the Bees a 5-1 win.
Bees were on the march and after a 3-3 in Heat five, they won the next two by nine points to three before another 3-3.
Ben Barker and Ed Kennett chalked up an easy 5-1 with Kasprzak and Bridger winning 4-2 in Heat Ten to see the Bees 38-22 ahead.
Swedish star Fred Lindgren took a tactical rider for Wolves to give them six more points but it was only four in the next heat when Tai Woffinden took their second tactical ride and the Heat finished 4-4.
After the interval, Heat 13 was drawn before both sides won the next heat 4-2. However, this had been a good meeting for the Bees and they were worthy winners by 52-43.
