Coventry Bees kept their faint play-off hopes alive with a 50-43 victory over Wolves at Brandon.
The meeting started witha 5-1 for the Bees, who had Kozza Smith guesting, when Kasprzak win followed by Aaron Summers.
Stuart Robson had an engine failure in the re-run second hat which saw a 4-2 for Wolves but Zengota came back in the third heat to give the Bees a 4-2 win.
A 3-3 was followed by Zengota and Summers riding for a 5-1, a 3-3 and another 5-1 win for Robson and Nicholls who pulled off a great move to get round Skornicki, who took the tactical ride in heat eight due to the Bees being 27-15 up.
In a re-run heat, Skornick got the win for a 7-2 to Wolves who were back to three points when Ty Woffinden won.
Kasprzak won heat ten for a 5-1 and after two 3-3's, Kasprzak won heat thirteen beating Woffinden for a 4-2 in heat thirteen.
That saw the Bees 45-36 up and although Skornicki won for a 4-2 to Wolves, a 3-3 in the final heat gave the Bees a 50-43 win.
