Coventry Bees went down to a 48-42 defeat at home to Kings Lynn tonight.
Things started well for the Bees had Claus Vissing guesting with Hans Andersen and Ryan Fisher taking a 5-1 in the first heat and Josh Garrity winning the second for a 4-2.
Three 3-3's followed and after the track was graded, Kings Lynn won the next two heats 4-2.
More track grading was needed before a 3-3 and a 4-2 for the Bees in heat nine which saw James Sarjeant going off 15 metres after breaking the tapes.
Heat's ten and eleven finished in a 3-3 to leave the Bees 35-31 up. That was wiped out by a 5-1 for Kings Lynn in heat twelve and when Iversen got past Chris Harris, the visitors were ahead.
When Kerr and Lambert got passed Vissing in heat fourteen for a 5-1, the three points were heading towards East Anglia and a 3-3 in the final heat did nothing to stop Coventry Bees going down to a 48-42 defeat.
