Coventry Bees were thrashed at Brandon tonight by title favourties Poole Pirates.
The final score in the Elite League meeting which was live on Sky TV was a 39-54 victory to Poole. Chris Harris top scored with eleven points and Rory Schlein eight points.
The Bees were fourteen points down at one stage before reducing that to four. However, Poole extended their lead with a number of 5-1's.
Alan Rossiter told Sky Sports that the result showed that Coventry were weak at the bottom.
Belle Vue beat Eastbourne 59-36.
On Friday, the Bees are at home to Belle Vue and away to Eastbourne on Saturday. The following Wednesday, the Bees are at Poole and the meeting will be shown live on Sky Sports
