Coventry Bees were beaten in an Elite League meeting at Wolverhampton tonight.
At Monmore Green, the Bees had Krzysztof Kasprzak back but he was forced to retire in the opening heat which saw Ricky Well win in a 4-2.
Arron Summers won the second heat in a 3-3 but with Zengota retiring the Bees went down to a 4-2 defeat in the third with Stuart Robson finishing second.
Adam Roynon became the third Bees rider to have problems and he was forced to stop in the fourth heat which saw a 5-1 for Wolves who led 16-8.
The meeting was delayed due to the strength of the sun down the backstraight but when heat five did start, Kasprzak rode to a 4-2 for the Bees.
Thorssell and Freddie Lindgren rode for a 5-1 to Wolves before a win for Ludvig Lindgren gave Wolves a 4-2 and a twelve point lead.
Michael Szczepaniak took a tactical ride in heat eight but finished last in a heat won by Arron Summers in a 3-3, so Scott Nicholls took the tactical ride and finished second to give the Bees a 5-3 win.
Stuart Robson and Zengota took a 5-1 but Wolves extended their lead with two 4-2's and a 5-1 due to the bike of Kazprzak failing.
Wolves were fourteen points ahead going into the final two heats.
Robson held on to win in a 3-3 but the Bees went down to a 55-35 defeat when they allowed Skornicki and Woffinden to take a 5-1 in the final heat.
