Coventry Bees speedway team are through to the Knock Out Cup Final after a 96-90 aggregate victory after getting a 45-45 draw at Birmingham tonight.

The Bees had Arron Summers riding at number two and he and Chris Harris who has lost his wild card place in the Grand Prix series, rode as the Bees were beaten 4-2 in the opening heat due to Harris falling on the first lap and being excluded.

Heat two was re-run and saw Michal Szczepaniak and Adam Roynon ride to a 5-1 before Nicholls took King in the third heat to give the Bees a 4-2 win.

Ben Barker gave Birmingham a 4-2 but Harris and Summers rode for a 5-1 to see Coventry 18-12 up after five.

The next three heats all finished in 3-3's, but in Heat nine, Barker and Ulamek gated for a 5-1.

With the Bees now ahead by two, there were three more 3-3's before Harris and Larsen took a 4-2 in Heat fourteen.

A 5-1 to Birmingham meant it was all level going into the final heat and with that a 3-3, the meeting was a 45-45 draw and Coventry went into the final.
