At a damp Monmore Green tonight, The Bees were the visitors in a vital bottom of the table clash with bottom side Wolverhampton.
The Bees began in style with a 4-2 heat advantage which was quickly lost in the reserves race, where Wolverhampton rider Nicloai Klindt was to become the star of the night.
After heat 4 the scores were level at 12 apiece and the Bees took their 2nd and final lead of the night in heat 5 by 2 points.
Thereafter the Wolves, espcially Klindt, set about the Bees and managed to get their snouts in front. Sadly for the Bees in heat 13, in heavy drizzle conditions, Hans locked up on the 1st cornet allowing the Wolves pairing to gain a 4-2 advantage and open up a 4 point lead which was maintained in heat 14, ensuring that the Bees needed a 5-1 maximum heat win to draw the meeting.
Sadly the Wolves rider Iversen gated ahead of Hans and Chris ensuring that the Wolves netted the vital win on the night. However with Belle Vue losing away at Poole and now being 4 points ahead of the Bees in the table but ridden 4 more matches there is still some way to go to make sure that the Bees stay out of the bottom 2 and therefore avoid the relegation play-offs.
Bees scorers on the night were:
