Bees Retain Elite League Status

At Ipswich tonigh,t the Coventry Bees were the second match in a double header meeting which saw Chris Harris guest for the Witches in their first match (and victory) against Poole.

The Bees match ebbed and flowed with heat wins being traded but going into the final heat the Bees trailed by 2 points. However a fine 4-2 advantage for Coventry saw the result of a 45 -45 draw give them the one point required to safely confirm their Elite League status and condemn either Peterborough or Belle Vue to join Wolverhapmton in the relegation play-off.
