Coventry Bees beat Belle Vue Aces 51-39 tonight at Brandon.
The Bees had Danny King guesting but lost the opening heat 5-1 after King fell off but managed to get back on his bike and finish.
Adam Roynon retired in the second heat which the Aces took 4-2, but in a third heat which needed to be re-run three times, Zengota and Summers rode to a 5-1 to reduce Belle Vue's lead to two points.
Two 3-3's were followed by a 4-2 to Belle Vue but in a re-run heat seven, the Bees were back on level terms at 21-21 with a 5-1 thanks to Arron Summers and Scott Nicholls.
Summers and Szczepaniak rode to a 5-1, followed by a 3-3 and a 4-2 for a six point lead.
Kevin Wolbert took heat eleven for Belle Vue in a 4-2 but two 3-3's and two 5-1's gave the Bees a super 51-39 win.
