Coventry Bees had a good 56-37 victory tonight against Swindon Robins at Brandon tonight.
Although there were showers in Coventry, the meeting went ahead and Kenni Larsen win the first heat with former Bees rider Scott Nicholls coming second for a 4-2 to Coventry.
Heats two and three brought 3-3's and in heat four, Coventry increased their lead with an Edward Kennett win in a 4-2 victory.
Another 3-3 in heat five was followed by Emil Sayfutdinov and Kenni Larsen riding to a 5-1.
A 3-3 in heat seven was followed by two 5-1's for Coventry which meant they were now 30-18 ahead.
Nicolai Klindt had a tactical ride in Heat Ten. Klindt fell and was excluded. Then in the re-run, Kenny Larsen also fell but got back on his bike to get a point.
Scott Nicholls took the next tactical ride and won for a 6-3 to Swindon but the Bees were nineteen points ahead by the end of heat twelve when a twice re-run heat saw the Bees win 5-1.
A 3-3 in Heat thirteen followed by 4-2 wins for both teams ended the meeting and saw Coventry very worthy winners by 56-37.
