Tonight at Brandon the Bees are running a double header meeting with the 1st match a bottom of the table clash against Wolverhampton.
Tracking a side that had rider replacement to cover the injured Simon Stead the Bees welcomed back Ryan Fisher to cover one of the reserve berths.
In a must win match for the Bees the early advantage was seized by the Brandon boys who leapt into a 22-14 lead after heat 6 with Chris Harris especialy impressive from his first 2 starts leading all the way from the tapes.
Heat 7 saw the Wolves use the tactical ride option with Iversen the nominated rider, turning an on-track 3-3 into a 3-6 to the Wolves.
However the Bees stride was hardly dented as a 5-1 and two 4-2 heat advantanges took them into heat 11 with a 17 point lead.
Heat 11 resulted in a shared heat but only after Olly Allen fell at the 1st corner and was hit by fellow Bee Filip Sitera, Although Olly thankfully got up from the shale and walked back to the pits he was replaced in the re-run by Ryan Fisher as Olly was checked over by the track doctor.
The re-run then had to be stopped after former Bee Morten Risager picked up grip and speared into the air fence. Cue an exclusion for Morten and yet another re-run!
