Coventry Bees were heavily beaten 55-37 at Birmingham Brummies tonight.
With Joe Screen in for Adam Roynon, who is expected to be in hospital for a few more day's, Krzysztof Kasprzak won heat one to give the Bees a 4-2 win after Doyle's bike had packed up at the start and Arron Summers had to roll over the line when his bike went on lap three.
Martin Smolinski, who was to get a paid maximum of 14+1 got his first win of the evening for a 4-2 in the second heat to level the scores.
In a re-run heat three after Mateusz Szczepaniak had fallen, Birmingham took a 5-1 win only for Michal Szczepaniak to win heat four and give The Bees a 4-2 win.
A 3-3 was followed by Chris Harris extending Birmingham's lead to four points with a 4-2 win.
Another 4-2 and a 5-1 had Birmingham ten points clear going into heat nine. Scott Nicholls took the tactical ride and was beaten by King meaning a 4-4.
Harris and Doyle rode to a 5-1 in heat ten and it was the same score in heat eleven with Smolinski and Ben Barker taking the win which saw Gary Havelock's team eighteen points down.
Heat Twelve brought a 4-2 win for The Bees but two 3-3's and 4-2 to Birmingham in the final heat made it a miserable night for The Bees.
