Bees Take A Good Beating At Swindon

Coventry Bees Speedway team were beaten 59-36 at Swindon Robins tonight.

With Kevin Doolan guesting and rider replacement for Olly Allen, the Bees were soon in trouble at the Abbey Stadium, losing the opening two heats 5-1.

Heat three was awarded as a 4-2 to Swindon after Grzegorz Zengota's bike got stuck under the fence.

Scott Nicholls won heat four for a 4-2 to the Bees but another 5-1 in the next heat had Swindon 21-9 up.

Nicholls took the tactical ride and finished second in a 5-3 win, followed by three 3-3's and another 5-1 to Swindon.

Krzysztof Kasprzak had the tactical ride in heat eleven and won for an 8-1  to reduce the deficit to four points but four successive 5-1's to Swindon saw the Bees well beaten by 59.36.
