Coventry Bees Speedway Team won 47-43 at Swindon tonight.
In a re-arranged fixture, The Bees were forced to make the most of rider replacements and guests and had Chris Harris riding at number five and Richie Hawkins at six.
Kenni Larsen got off to a flier in the opening heat at Blunsdon and rode to win and give Coventry a 4-2 heat victory.
The next three heats all finished 3-3 but in the fifth, Monberg and Stead gated to a 5-1.
With Scott Nicholls getting an EF in Heat six, Harris and Hawkins were able to wipe out the 5-1 of the last heat with a 5-1 of their own.
Heat seven finished in a 3-3 but in the next heat, Kenni Larsen and Nick Morris gated to give the Bees a 5-1 and put them 27-21 up.
A 3-3 in heat nine was followed by former Bees rider Scott Nicholls and Zengota gating for a 5-1 to reduce the Bees lead to two points.
Another 3-3 in Heat eleven was followed by the Bees starting well in heat twelve but when Nick Morris' bike locked up, Monberg was able to get a second place in a 4-2 for Coventry.
A re-run heat thirteen saw Klindt going off 15 metres after going through the tapes and Chris Harris' bike pack up on lap as Swindon won 4-2.
Nick Morris rode well to get into second in heat fourteen but it was a 4-2 to Swindon and the match was level at 42-42.
Swindon gated but Harris and Fisher got in to the lead on the seocnd bend and rode for a 5-1 and a Coventry victory by 47-43.
