Coventry kid Ian Bell caught Collymore off the bowling of Monty Panesar to give England a victory over the West Indies by sixty runs.
At Old Trafford on the final day, West Indies needed 154 runs to pass the target of 455 with five wickets remaining.
However, after Shiv Chanderpaul has reached his century, Steve Harmison struck twice and Monty added the wicket of Collymore to those of Ramdin and Sammy which he had taken in the morning session to give England the win.
England lead the Test Series 2-0 with one drawn game.
