They added a third through an unassisted James Gimblett goal on 21.07 before James Griffin pulled one back, assisted by Dunstin Cameron and Brad Leeb on 39.10.

In to the third and there was a second goal for The Blaze when Greg Leeb netted on 42.50, assisted by Adam Henrich and Brad Leeb.

To the delight of the travelling Blaze support, Coventry were level on 51.44 thanks to Greg Leeb finding the net again, assisted by Adam Henrich and Mike Egener.

That took the match into over-time, but after ninety seconds of 4 v 4, Stuart MacRae scored to give Cardiff the win.
