Blaze Cut Down By Steelers

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team were beaten 3-0 by the Sheffield Steelers at the Sky Dome in an Elite League fixture.

With Gerome Giudice off the ice for roughing, Sheffield took the lead on 3.27 when Tom Sestito scored assisted by Drew Fata.

There were no more goals in the first period but on 31.57, Steve Goertzen hit a second, assisted by Tylor Michel and Lee Esders.

Ben Olsson and Tom Sestito both got five minutes for fighting but in the third, Sheffield took the win with a third goal from Lee Esders, assisted by Ashley Tait which was when the Steelers were shorthanded.
