Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team dished out some more punishment when they came from behind to beat Edinburgh Capitals 7-2 in an Elite League game.
At the Sky Dome tonight, Marcis Zembergs put the visitors ahead on 2.29 and added a second on 12.21.
The Blaze sprung into life in the second period with Dunstin Wood scoring an unassisted goal on the powerplay on 27.50 before scoring another powerplay goal on 30.28, assisted by Shea Guthrie.
Robert Farmer, assisted by Woo-Sang Park put the Blaze into the lead on 33.45 and it was a lead they were not to relinquish.
Before the second period ended, there was another goal for the Blaze fans to enjoy thanks to Owen Fussey scoring on 36.36, assisted by Greg Owen and Jonathan Weaver.
With ten minutes to go, Frantisek Bakrlik hit the fifth, assisted by Matic Kralj who hit a sixth, assisted by Park on 53.40.
A good evening was wrapped up on 58.57 thanks to Mike McLean scoring a short handed goal, assisted by Dave Phillips.
