Coventry Blaze followed up their 15-0 win over Edinburgh Capitals last night with a 12-2 away victory tonight.
Fourteen Blaze fans made it to Scotland to see Luke Fulghum open the scoring on 8.57. On 14.05, Fulghum turned provider to set up Dan Carlson for the second and by the end of the period, it was 3-0 when Carlson hit his second, assisted by Chambers and Cruckshank.
Ross Venus hit a fourth on 25.14, before Bowie pulled one back on 27.05. Jon Weaver made it 5-1 to the Blaze on 31.03 and a sixth goal came courtesy of Robert Farmer.
Sean Selsmer scored the seventh on 33.32 before Arron Nell scored an unassisted goal and thirty seconds before the end of the second period, Farmer scored his second goal of the night to see the Blaze 9-1 up.
The Capitals announcer predicted Edinburgh to score ten goals in the third period without reply but his optimism was badly misplaced when Arron Nell hit the tenth, thirty one seconds in.
Luke Fulghum smashed in the eleventh goal on 48.15 and completed his hat-trick on 51.10.
Clingel gave the 100 or so home fans something to cheer with a second goal on with just over a minute left as the Blaze left with a 12-2 win and their first four pointer weekend for 12 weeks.
On Saturday, the Blaze travel to Newcastle Vipers before facing Cardiff Devils at home on Sunday.
