Coventry Blaze went down to a 6-3 defeat at Nottingham Panthers tonight.
The Blaze took a good following to the National Ice Arena in Nottingham but their supporters saw Danny Stewart pick up a two minute penalty for hooking and Sean McAslan made the most of it by scoring on 17.09.
Fifty seconds into the second period and Coventry conceded a second goal when Kevin Bergin netted.
On 23.02, Brian Lee pulled one back for The Blaze, assisted by Arron Neil and Luke Fulghum but The Panthers went 3-1 up with a Jade Galbraith unassisted goal on 29.25.
That was reduced to 3-2 when Luke Fulghum scored on 35.43, assisted by Dan Carlson and Arron Neil.
As on Thursday night, the Third Period proved not to be a good one for the Blaze who fell further behind to goals from David Clarke on 44.38 and Marc Levers on 48.03.
Derek Campbell hit a third for the Blaze on 51,17 with a powerplay goal assisted by Tom Watkins but on 55.38, Ross Dalglish scored to give Nottingham a 6-3 victory.
Tomorrow night, Coventry Blaze take on Edinburgh Capitals needing a victory. Face off at the Sky Dome is at 6pm.
