Blaze set to relight careers with our Jobs Fair in Crosby's Bar today (Wednesday).
The Blaze Community Foundation (the Charity arm of the Coventry Blaze) are again working hard in the community to help fight against unemployment in Coventry.
Our latest jobs fair, to be held in Crosby's at the Skydome, follows three
hugely successful employment programmes in which the Coventry Blaze offered free of charge training in community leader awards and emergency first aid which led to work placements with the Blaze and their partners' organisations.
Past programmes have always had good attendances at the fairs, with large
numbers signing up to take advantage of the CV building experience provided through the Charity. The course has always produced good work experience opportunities for a number of applicants completing the training including work within the Blaze organisation.
On Wednesday 22nd September, the next run of the 'relighting careers with the Coventry Blaze' programme commences with a jobs fair between 1pm and 3pm at Crosby's Bar, with the opportunity to find work or training and volunteering positions in the local area to boost your CV.
Stalls at the fair will include employment agencies, military recruitment,
voluntary groups, City Council support and training and education centres.
So drop by to find out more. This Wednesday in Crosby's from 1pm til 3pm.
