Coventry Blaze were beaten 3-2 in over-time in a Challenge Cup tie at Sheffield Steelers on Saturday night.

Sheffield fired in shots at the Blaze net minder Mike Zacharias but the Blaze held firm until ten minutes to go when Jeff legue scored twice in the powerplay.
With 94 seconds remaining, Tait scored to send the game into over-time and the Steelers took their first win of the season at the Sheffield Arena when captain Steve Goertzen scored to send the Blaze to a 3-2 defeat.
