Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Team have signed Canadian forward Kelsey Wilson.
The 27-year-old from Ontario, played for Nottingham Panthers last season and could make his debut at the Panthers tomorrow before making his home debut against Cardiff Devils on Sunday (5.15pm face-off).
Blaze Coach Matt Soderstrom said to the Blaze Website: "It all happened in a short space of time. Kelsey knows Mike Schutte and Adam Henrich and when a player of that calibre becomes available you jump on it. He was actually someone we looked at in the summer.
"He is happy and excited to be coming here. He is a physical player, he battles hard every night, he finishes his hits and drops the gloves when needed. But he is also a skilled player. He is going to be a really good addition to the team."
