Coventry Blaze were beaten 4-2 on Saturday night at Braehead Clan.
Brock McPherson fired the Scottish side ahead on 7.29 with Drew Bannister adding a second 56 seconds into the second period.
The travelling Blaze support had something to cheer as they equalised with goals on 25.47 from Shea Guthrie and 27.05 from Greg Owen.
But as the third period got underway, Bayrack scored a debut game goal and Jade Galbraith found the net on 48.50 to give Braehead a 4-2 victory.
