Paul Thompson's side trailed to a Cameron goal early in the opening period. Blaze went into the second on the attack and hit back with a brace from Man Of The Match Jon Weaver and a goal from Curtis Huppe.
Awada pulled one back to delight the twenty visiting supporters but in the third period, top scorer Adam Calder sent a packed Sky Dome crazy when he netted to give Blaze a 4-2 win and eighty points from fifty league matches.
Meanwhile,Sheffield Steelers, the only side who can mathematically catch the Blaze, won 4-3 at Cardiff Devils.

Blaze travel to Basingstoke for the Knockout Cup Final first leg on Wednesday night before travelling to Newcastle on Saturday and taking on Basingstoke in a league game next Sunday.
