Coventry Blaze had seven different scorers on the scoresheet as they won 7-2 at Newcastle Vipers tonight.
Paul Thompson's side led through goals from Sean Selmser at 4.48 and a second courtesy of Owen Fussey on 8.17 with Kyle Sibley pulling one back for the Vipers on 12.23.
The second period was pure Coventry with five goals being rattled in by the Blaze.
Dan Carlson scored on 20.57, assisted by Fulghum and Fussey with a fourth goal coming from an unassisted Brad Zanon goal on 23.16.
Four goals became five when Jon Weaver scored a powerplay goal, assisted by Chambers and Selmser at 31.18.
Then Luke Fulghum, assisted by Weaver & Selmser found the net on 31:43 and Greg Owen netted, assisted by Chambers and Cruikshank on 36:51.
Newcastle pulled another one back in the final period as the Blaze ran out 7-2 winners.
