A total of £2,500 was handed over on Thursday night by the committee of the Major Boyd Carpenter Cup.
At the Cheylesmore Social Club, Quinton Park, Coventry, the Annual Cheque Presentation Evening of the Major Boyd-Carpenter Cup Competition, sponsored by B.B Building and Timber Merchants, took place.
A total of £2500 will be donated , and the beneficiaries include Coventry MS Therapy Centre, The Island Project School, Cancer Research, Childrens Liver Foundation, B.A.S.I.C.S., Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Help the Heroes, Cystic Fibrosis , Zoe`s Place and Camp Quality UK.
