BOYD CARPENTER CUP SEEKS SPONSOR
The Cup was originally donated by Major Boyd-Carpenter in 1925 and the Competition originally raised money for beds at Coventry &
Warwickshire Hospital.
With the start of the NHS Service, the Competition started to raise money for local Charities,which we have continued to do so up to the present day.
The Competition has been sponsored for the last 10 years,but this year we have been unable to get anyone to Sponsor the Competition.
Anyone who is interested in sponsoring the Competition can expect to receive maximum publicity through the local press,emails and general
Competition correspondence,and would help the Competition by paying Secretarial Expenses and all expenses incurred through staging the Cup
Final.The sponsor would be invited to attend the Final and present the trophies and Cup to the two finalists and Match Officials.
Should any individual or Company be able to Sponsor our Competition,this would then enable us to donate more money to various
selected local charities,which this year will include Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance,BASICS,Cystic Fibrosis,Help the
Heroes,Childrens Liver Disease,Cancer UK and The Island Project.
The next Annual Charity Cheque Presentation Evening will be held at the Cheylesmore Social Club,Quinton Park on Thursday 3rd Fabruary
2011.
