Coventry Rugby Club beat Esher 35-24 tonight at the Butts Park Arena in a re-arranged National Division One game.
A crowd of 672 saw the visitors take the lead in the third minute with Walker going over for a try which Daniels converted.
Cliff Hodgson kicked a seventh minute penalty and seven minutes later, he kicked a conversion as Tibbatts scored with a try.
A Synott try gave Esher the lead in the 16th minute but Phil Maynard's side came back with a Hodgson try in the 23rd minute and a Munro try ten minutes later to give Coventry a 20-12 lead at half-time.
Eight minutes into the second half and Coventry went further in front when Johns scored with a try, followed by a 58th minute Maisey penalty.
Esher scored a 72nd minute penalty try which was converted but Coventry were not finished and Munro went over at the other end with Maisey converting to give Coventry 35 points.
Although, McFarlane ran in a 79th minute try for Esher, that was only good enough to take them to 24 points and give Coventry who are at home to Sedgley Park on Saturday (3pm kick off), the win.
