Amounts have not been announced but HM Revenue and Customs have asked for the winding up of a company called Coventry Football Club after failing to agree payments with the Butts Park Arena based club.
Coventry Rugby Club play in National League Division One and were taken over by new owner Andrew Green in August 2006.
