Coventry Rugby Club beat Birmingham & Solihull 29-13 in a local derby this afternoon.
A crowd of 1193 at the Butts Park Arena, saw Weller give Coventry a fifth minute lead with a try which O'Connor converted.
Hawkes reduced the arrears with two penalties but Phil Maynard's side increased their lead when O'Connor went over for a try which he converted in the 26th minute.
Before the end of the half, there was more for the Coventry fans to celebrate when Dechartres scored a try and again O'Connor scored the extra points.
In first half stoppage time, O'Connor took his points tally to fourteen with a penalty.
Unfortunately, he could not add to his tally in the second half which saw Stevens score a 45th minute try and although Gregg ran in a try for the Brummies in the 78th minute which Sadler converted, Coventry ran out easy 29-13 winners..
