Coventry Bees beat Kings Lynn Stars 48-42 tonight
At Brandon tonight, The Bess who had Birmingham's Sebastian Ulamek guesting, lost the opening heat 5-1 when former Bees rider Rory Schlein gated and were beaten by the same score in heat two.
Chris Harris, won heat three for the Bees, and a 3-3 was followed by a 5-1 when Aron Summers won with Harris second.
With Ed Kennett winning in heat six for a 4-2, Coventry pulled the match back to 18-18.
The Stars went back into the lead with a 4-2 and then a 5-1 which was followed by a 3-3 and Ed Kennett winning heat ten for a 5-1 to reduce the Stars lead to only two points.
A re-run heat eleven which was delayed due to Adam Raynon cutting his hand, produced a 3-3.
Roynon replacing Bager rode to victory in heat twelve in front of a very small crowd for a 5-1.
Ulamek won heat thirteen as Ed Kennett's bike packed up for a 3-3. Another 3-3 meant that the Bees lead by two points going into the final heat.
Chris Harris and Ulamek rode for the Bees who got away well before Nemark fell into Schlein. Both riders avoided the fence but pulled up. When they realised that the race was not going to be stopped, Schlein went after the Bees riders but could not catch them and the Bees won 5-1.
There were protests from Kings Lynn after the race but Coventry took a 48-42 victory.
