Coventry Bees Beaten Again

Coventry Bees speedway team were beaten by 46-44 at Birmingham tonight.

With the Bees having to use rider replacement for number two Arron Summers, heat one finished 3-3 with a great win for Chris Harris.

Both sides won a heat 4-2 before heat four finished 3-3.

Heats five to eight were ones for the Bees support in the crowd to savour. Chris Harris and Adam Roynon rode for a 5-1, Scott Nicholls beat Pedersen on the line for a 4-2, heat seven was a 3-3 and in heat eight, Kenni Larsen and Adam Roynon rode for a 5-1 to put the Bees 29-19 up.

Heat nine was a 3-3 but Birmingham came back with a 5-1 in the next heat.

In a re-run heat eleven with Piszcz excluded, Chris Harris won for a 4-2.

The Bees led by eight points but that was wiped out in the next two heats with Birmingham getting two 5-1's to make it 39-39 with two heats remaining   

The Bees were on a 5-1 in heat fourteen but Josh Auty got past Larsen on the final bend to see Coventry win the heat 4-2.

Their two point lead was not enough as a 5-1 to Birmingham meant that the Bees had lost yet again.

Coventry Bees are at home to Wolverhampton tomorrow night.
