Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey are through to the Play-Off weekend with a stunning 4-2 victory at Sheffield Steelers.
The Blaze travelled to Sheffield Steelers a goal down from the first leg and got straight into Sheffield at a sold out Ice Sheffield.
On 6.27, Shea Guthrie fired Coventry level on aggregate when he scored, assisted by Adam Henrich and then added a second with a powerplay goal on 10.03, assisted by Mike Egener and Derek Campbell.
Rob Sarich pulled one back for Sheffield on 30.13 and Tyler Michell equalised on 31.22 to make it 2-2 on the night and 5-4 to the Steelers.
Coventry were not out of it and on 46.50, their support was going ballistic when Dustin Cameron scored, assisted by Mike Egener.
With Sheffield's lead from the first leg neutralised and no more goals, the match went into over-time and on 61.49, Shea Guthrie completed his hat-trick when he fired home from assists by Henrich and Schutte to give The Blaze a 4-2 win and a place in the Play-Off weekend.
