Coventry Rugby Thrash Cinderford

Coventry Rugby Club were too strong for Cinderford in a English League One game this afternoon.

A crowd of 905 saw Gregson run in a try for Coventry with only four minutes gone. This was followed ten minutes later when Ager went over and Read converted.

Ager scored his second try for Phil Maynard's side in the 33rd minute which Read again converted.

Coventry, really turned up the pressure with McDonald getting a 35th minute try that was converted and one for Nash which Read converted to see Coventry 36-0 up at half time.

Wallis ran in the sixth try in the 51st minute before Evans put Cinderford on the board with a 54th minute try.

On the hour mark, Harris scored a try and ten minutes later, Kent did the same.



The Butts Park Arena support was very happy and with a minute left, Gregson scored his second try of the afternoon and Read converted to give Coventry a 55-5 victory.
