Coventry V Sheffield sport week - match 2 result

In what is a four match sporting week for events between Coventry and Sheffield teams, the Coventry Bees speedway team were at the Sheffield Tigers track at Owlerton for the 1st leg of an inter-league challenge match.

The Bees ran out victors by 56 points to 37, with the scorers as follows:

Olly allen - 7+2
Simon Stead - 12

Stanislaw Burza - 7+3

The 2nd leg is at Brandon tomorrow night with the usual start time of 7.45pm for the riders parade with heat 1 tapes up at 8pm.
