Coventry's Walk Of Fame, a celebration of civic pride is to be unveiled on Friday May 16th, the 21st anniversary of the day the Sky Blues won the FA Cup.
The first ten names,chosen by public vote, will be revealed on bronze plaques set in the floor of Priory Place in Coventry city centre.
Among the guests attending the honour, will be living recipients former Coventry City manager and Chairman Jimmy Hill, Athlete and City supporter Dave Moorcroft as well as members of The Specials and Pete Waterman.
Also celebrated on the walkway are jet pioneer Sir Frank Whittle,city icon Lady Godiva, Australian statesman Sir Henry Parkes, Jaguar Founder Sir William Lyons, cycle pioneer James Starley and the late Mo Mowlam.
