Australian Jason Crump won the British Speedway Grand Prix at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff this evening.
Three Coventry Bees riders were in the event but after the heats only Chris Harris made the semi-final with nine points. Ed Kennett, who had four points and Scott Nicholls who was involved in a fight with Emil Sayfutdinov after Heat 5 had six, were both eliminated.
Unfortunately, Harris, a previous winner of this event, was eliminated in his semi-final for bringing down a rider.
The final included former Bees rider Hans Anderson but it was Australian Jason Crump who won the finalrace with Lindgren second, Anderson third and Greg Hancock fourth.
