Crutchlow finished 11th in the opening race won by Max Biaggi, who also won the second record.
The Wyken rider on his Yamaha, started well in the second race and was able to finish third in the 21 lapper behind Biaggi and Leon Camier.
He is now in ninth place in the championship led by Biaggi with 264 points and said to Eurosport: "I thought we were going to do it in the first race as well but I got caught up in the accident. "I want to thank my team for all they have done."
