Speaking to Bennetts British Superbikes, the Wyken lad said:This is going to be my first Suzuka Eight-Hour race and I can't wait. I'm riding for the Moriwaki Honda team and they've got so much history - not just as a team but in the Suzuka race itself.
"Unlike Leon (Haslam) who's also racing the Eight-Hour, I've never been here before and it's one hell of a circuit! It's interesting and technical and knowledge of it will be everything. Either way I'm not doing too bad, the team are pleased so that's okay."
Crutchlow's next race will be at Snetterton next weekend. Tickets are priced at from £22 with children aged 12 and under free. See www.snetterton.co.uk for more details. Channel Four will show highlights of the race on the Monday night.
