Jerome Murdock scored twice for Paul Charnley's side in the 35th and 48th minutes but the side who only had five points from 21 games scored three times through Justin Grandison and two from Ryan Rowe to take away a rare win.

Midland Combination Premier Division action saw Coventry Copsewood beat Meir KA 2-0 at Allard Way with Partridge scoring both goals. Massey Ferguson lost 4-2 at Castle Vale. Lockyer and Duley scored for The Tractormen. Nuneaton Griff lost 5-1 at Heather whilst promotion hopefuls Southam United won 2-1 at Continental Star.
In Division One, there were wins for Alveston and Stockingford but Leamington Hibernian were defeated.
In the Coventry Telegraph Cup, Coventry Colliery beat Kenilworth Town 2-0.
