Double Victory For Coventry's Cal

Coventry's World Superbikes rider Cal Crutchlow won both races of the meeting at Silverstone this afternoon.

The Yahama rider from Wyken, got away from Jonathan Rea and set a new record lap on lap thirteen of the twenty lap race. Leon Haslam was third.

In Race Two, Rea led for most of the race but Crutchlow overtook in the last few laps to take his second victory of the day.

Crutchlow is now fifth in the standings. He has 188 points behind leader Max Biaggi on 373.
